After I did a roughed up, a more abstract version of "Iris variation 1" I thought I do another one, and went with an old favorite composition, a subject I know well, and went for it. This is the result.
Thank you Renate. I've learned on the way that too many round curves doesn't work for me. Have to mix hard and soft, that the aim anyway. Glad you like it.
Hi Roger:) This one I love! It's so your style with the straigh lines. Very nice!
SvaraRaderaThank you Renate. I've learned on the way that too many round curves doesn't work for me. Have to mix hard and soft, that the aim anyway. Glad you like it.
RaderaFabulous! I love this abstraction, there are some 'new' colors and different kinds of white touches. Very interesting.
SvaraRaderaThank you Jane. It is perhaps strange that I am not into bright colors right now ,considering all the bright colors outside right now.
RaderaOh wow! This one is so interesting. A different composition of irises that what I'm used to from you - I love it!
SvaraRaderaThanks Karen. I have accentually used this composition before, but I am sure it was before we "met" in the virtual world. =)
RaderaThis is fabulous Roger. :) Those purples have such depth and energy. I know I always say it, but I think that THIS one is my new favorite. :)
SvaraRaderaWell, thanks Crystal. In a perfect world one's skill would improve on each painting, lol.
RaderaOh, I like this one a lot more. It's got lots of interesting shapes and more colour. Beautiful.
