Flower Abstraction 18


I went back to this years favorite flowers and did a clean and simple composition, with a graphic impact. Simplicity isn't easy, every brush stroke count. I'm not sure if one can go too simple, but I like it.

    Beautiful fresh flowers, Roger!! The lights and shadows in the petals are very nicely done and again I love how you emphasized them with black lines!

    Strong! Bold! Definitely graphic - nothing delicate about this flower.
