I know that I have done a lot of trees/forest paintings the last month or so, but of all the seasons, this is the most inspiring one. There is a lot of warm colors but there is room to play around a lot. I did this a while back, but I think it's worth showing. I like the colors and the airy feeling of it.
The reds, yellow, oranges and brilliant blues are hard to resist this time of year. Lovely perspective and colors Roger. Hugs.
SvaraRaderaI THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day, 5
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain. 10
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
Poet: Joyce Kilmer (1886 -1918)
Thanks Ina and Linda. I just started to paint this one and let my intuition guide me.
