I have done paintings with unknown red berries before, but this autumn I took a lot of photographs of Rowen trees. The colors was amazing. I have finally got them on canvas (or should I say panel).
Love the painting. My first thought was holly--must be the season? After reading your post, I'm now wondering if the berries from the Rowan tree are what we call Bittersweet? Maybe Wiki knows? Great color. You paintings are revealing your happy spirit.
It's beautiful Roger, but what I really love are the dots of light blue, lovely color scheme. The rowan tree is called ' Sorbus' in latin, ( if anyone should want to know ). I have several of them in my danish garden and the birds just love the fruits.

SvaraRaderaJättefin målning. Du har verkligen lyckats med att få bären att "ploppa ut" från duken.Färgerna är också väldigt mjuka och fina.
SvaraRaderaGorgeous! I like all of the activity happening in the negative space too. Very inspiring!
SvaraRaderaBeautiful ! I love the way you massed them together to form an angle.
