I know that it is spring, but I think autumn is still my favorite season. When I saw this weeks challenge on Daily Paintworks, I knew I would do at least one attempt at it. The challenge is called
"The Warm/Cool Challenge" and I chose to do an autumn painting with warm as the dominant temperature the cool comes from the hint of sky through the leaves.
Hi Roger! I really love this--I think I like your berries the best. You definitely have the warm/cool thing going on here. And it has a real autumn feel to it.
SvaraRaderaYour berries are always fabulous because I think an artist has to be skillful to avoid a poker-dot effect. You link them in just the right way.
SvaraRaderaLovely juxtaposition of warm and cool. And the winner is...Roger!
Thanks Roger for your comment. I stopped by earlier today and couldn't believe you were painting Fall while I was celebrating Spring. All of these berry paintings are your best. You are one man who really knows how to break up space. We share a love for balancing positive and negative forms.
SvaraRaderaI really love the colors here ...all of them, the dots of light blue give and extra dimension to this beautiful work .
