Not everyone might not be familiar with Rowen berries, but that isn't that important, there is plenty of bushes and trees with similar red berries. This is my latest painting in that series and it will not be my last. This is one of my latest paintings and reference photo was taken late summer, before the leaves changed color.
Hi Roger! This is an excellent painting! Really great, I find the abstractness beautiful, but also the colors you used. Love the patch of blue surrounded by the greens and touches of red.
SvaraRaderaYou are right , it doesn't really matter what kind of berries they are , what matters is that you painted them beautifully , and your colors are fabulous !
SvaraRaderaNope - don't know Rowen berries. But you are right - berries are adorable and I think they universally make us all hungry. You always simplify those tiny spheres so well, Roger. Love the bits of sky in this one, and the peeks of the red ground is fresh and skillful. I'll say it again... damn, you're good! :)
SvaraRaderaGreat flow of colors!
SvaraRaderaHi Roger,
SvaraRaderaVery beautiful abstract painting with red berries, the colours of the background are amazing !!!
Have a nice weekend !!!
Your use of cadmium red throughout adds a wonderful, all over glow and breaths life into the greens. Your paintings are becoming more and more lively since I've been following.
SvaraRaderaI agree with Linda about the use of cad red in this.I also love the turquoise.
