Finally got a descent picture of this painting. It has rained, snowed and the light has more or less been bad. The weather also makes painting harder, since I want to see the painting in daylight too, working with lamps tends to give the impression that contrasts are bigger than they really are. Did start another big painting this weekend, but the lack of light and thought about the direction made me take a break from it. Have to wait and see if I continue with it or not.
I love this Roger!! It must be incredible in person. :)
SvaraRaderaWonderful! This tree looks very majestic!
SvaraRaderaHave a great week with lots of happy painting happening!
Je me suis agréablement promenée dans votre blog... J'aime beaucoup la manière que vous donnez vie aux arbres...
SvaraRaderaJe reviendrai pour une prochaine balade.

Ugh, I know how bad weather can hinder things - from photo taking to scenic inspiration to overall mood. But this tree is awesome! Please don't let the winter doldrums get you down, Roger. And I bet they aren't getting you down - I suspect this little lapse in posting has us all in for a treat. Can't wait...!
SvaraRaderaYou may not have a lot of light in rainy Sweden, but you put a lot of beautiful light into this painting! Gorgeous!
SvaraRaderaWish you sunny days !
Thank you all for the nice comments, I had a good feeling painting this, nice to see that people like it.
SvaraRaderaI really like the colors in this painting. The gray green tree makes all those other subtle colors pop. Nice job with the composition too.
