This is my 3rd and final attempt on this composition. I have no idea why, but I got caught up with the coneflower's petals, going too realistic and clashing with the simplicity of the other flowers. I finally found my way again and this painting took me into a new direction. I have done a few floral paintings where I am less concern with what kind of flowers I am painting and more about the shapes and colors that they have.

SvaraRaderaL'échinacée est une fleur remplie de pouvoirs... Je l'utilise pour renforcer le système immunitaire de mon dalmatien. Elle se présente sèche semblable aux herbes de Provence en apparence et je saupoudre ses croquettes avec.
Elle peut l'être pour nous également sous une autre forme et utilisée comme cure, en cette période de l'année elle évite les rhumes...
Je me rends compte qu'elle a un autre pouvoir ! Elle a ensorcelé l'artiste ! et très agréablement ! Le résultat est sous mes yeux... Une peinture magnifique.

Flowers with lots of thin long petals are more difficult for me. I think you did a great job on this and I really like the cropping choices.
