Waterlily Abstraction 5
I posted earlier the start of this painting. I thought it was a good start, but I realized that if I wanted that kind of simplicity, I shouldn't have painted it during the evening with no natural light. The contrast looks greater than they actually are.
I didn't push it too much, wanted to find a starting point to work from. I like the result and found myself enjoying painting waterlilies again.

This is great! I love it when you do decent sizes. This series has a calming influence whereas Bird's Nests is a lot more active. After my computer problems, I'm into calming.
