This weeks challenge on DPW is "The Broken Egg Challenge". I wasn't sure if I would do it, but finally I thought I try it & have fun with it. This is my contribution.
A fine job on a new subject Roger. I like the subtle colors and how you painted the reflections in the yolks. I, too, admire your strong style--maybe even envy?
Thank you Linda. Well, have done some egg related paintings before, even an egg shallenge, but I tried to a little different, more graphic and abstract.
Thank you Karen. I knew you would think that. There were a time when the challenge were new, that I was considering skipping it, but I gave it a go and had a lot of fun.
Great painting. Like your unique style.
SvaraRaderaThank you Amanda. I am glad you like my style of painting.

SvaraRaderaThank you Julie. I try to grow and try new things. It is a process, a slow one, but I have fun walking it.
RaderaWas hoping you'd do this one - I love the reflections of the yolks on the shells. Beautiful tonal transitions - what a great painting!
