Physalis abstraction 2


This is my 2nd take on this graphic looking fruit. I like the contrast between the smooth and shiny and the dry petals.

  1. I like the horizontal composition and the vivid colors. And look at that size! You're paring down and doing it nicely. Now you're a guy who definitely has color values down pat.

    1. Thank you Linda. It is funny that you mention values, because I go with my gut feeling along the way, sometimes it bites me in the ass.
      Since I use black and white/yellow lines, I got the dark and light, and it define the range. That can be both a blessing and a curse.

  2. Fantabulous again! I remember an art teacher once told us that you can't go wrong with a secondary colours palette of orange, purple and green. This one is just great. I like that cobalt violet.
