I did this one in December, but there was something lacking, wasn't sure what. I did put it away for a while, and last week I went back to it, fixed a few details and now I like it a lot.
I like it a lot too! Glad you found fresh eyes with this one - would be a shame to have it end up in the unfinished files. I imagine those yellow bits are candied ginger? Whatever they are, they compliment the background very nicely. Another scrumptious painting!
