Here is another Iris painting inspired by one of the pictures I got from Martine Alison. I also include a picture I took when I was in one of the largest parks here in Malmö. This duck stuck out from the rest and I guess it is an albino Mallard duck. It still got some colors, but it looks wrong and those red eyes makes it look evil.
Hi Roger, I found your blog via jane. What a beautiful abstract Iris you have painted. Wonderful and lovely.
SvaraRaderaWarm greet Marja
Hi and thanks Marja. Iris is my favorite and most painted flower, am eagerly waiting for them to start blooming here so I can take a lot of reference photos.
RaderaThis duck does look a bit strange, never saw one with red eyes. Your painting is great, love the tonality .
SvaraRaderaThanks Jane. The fun thing was that people seemed to be drawn to it, it was strange.
RaderaHi Roger ,
SvaraRaderaVery amazing colour in your lovely painting !!!

Have a nice and calm weekend !!!
Thanks, glad you like it, and I wish you a pleasant weekend too.
SvaraRaderaAnother beautiful piece Roger. Your signature strokes add so much energy to your work. I love it. :))
SvaraRaderaAnd that is one sinister looking duck. . . He looks like he's plotting something. Perhaps how to steal all the world's breadcrumbs. :D
Congrats on your sale! Are you going to do a painting of that wacky little duck?
