The Irises is in full bloom over here, and I am running around, trying to get as many reference photos as I can.
This is one is inspired of one of those photos. If you got photos to share, please do. I can never get too many of them.

    1. Thanks, glad you like it. Right now I seem to mix things up painting my "trees/forest paintings, Irises and fruits. I am working up the nerve to start exploring a subject I loved painting before I started to explore and loose up my way of painting. I hope to get that going soon.

  2. How are you painting these huge gorgeous paintings so fast! (I consider 12 x 12 gib!) Another beaut!

    1. Thanks Nora. A painting doesn't take as much time to do compared how I painted 18 months ago, and sometimes it is hard to get the balance, am not as patient as I used to be. I want it more spontaneous these days.

    1. Thanks Amy. Am doing a lot of Iris paintings right now, never going for the "realistic" approach, exploring ways to do them in more or less abstracted ways. Playing with shapes and colors.
