The things that usually keep a series going is that I get ideas that I want to realize or wondering how it would have looked if I......
Even if it didn't lead to a series, my "Bowl with fruit 1" did lead to this one. I like them both, but for different reasons.
Hello Roger:) Very nice painting. Love the subject, so different from what you usely do! Love it. Great art!
SvaraRaderaThank you Renate. I do my thing, but have to try out new things from time to time.
RaderaI loved the first one, and I love this one, gorgeous transparence and composition !
SvaraRaderaThanks Jane. I think I will try some more glass and transparency subjects. I have avoided it because of the black line, haven't been sure how to approach it. Glass gives a more subtle vision and blend with the background.
RaderaI am really, really liking how you are working in blended brushstrokes and then the clean layered ones. And the color palette is so fabulous Roger. :) Well done.
SvaraRaderaThanks Crystal. I try to use both my old approach, letting layers dry before going forward, and the new one painting wet on wet.
RaderaYour paintings are so amazing! This one is practically dancing! I'm enjoying watching the subtle interesting changes your art makes as time passes.

Thanks Nora. I hope I do grow as an artist, and I hope I do grow in the right direction. =)
RaderaJ'aime le "carrelage" sous ce superbe saladier de fruits...
SvaraRaderaSi mes yeux s'amuse à suivre les lignes je pourrais penser que votre saladier danse une polka!
Très belle peinture Roger.
Gros bisous
Thank you Martine. Am always looking forward to translate your comments.
RaderaLively, not usually what comes to mind with a still life.
SvaraRaderaThanks Jean. I go with my instinct and it has led me to how I do things now. Glad you like it.
