I haven't started any real series of waterlilies yet. It might happen at some point, have to wait and see. I painted this right after "Waterlily abstraction 1".
Ha! Weird---I just mentioned lily pads in my reply to you, then came over here and voila! Funny. I love the green water reflections in this one, wow! Hope you do a series - they are a signature subject of yours and you do amazing things with them.
Your green mixtures are fabulous - I am so envious you can work with green so well. The water looks as if it is moving. I hope you do manage to do a series of these.
Roger, this is great. The colors are so nice. Wish I had some extra money!
SvaraRaderaThanks Scott. Glad you like it. I personally think that the photo doesn't do it justice, and I was a little worry how it would be received.

SvaraRaderaThanks Karen. I saw that, you must have read my mind. =) I know I will "go for it" at some point with waterlilies, just hasn't happened yet.
RaderaI love this one - the reflections on the water look so natural and just make the piece.
SvaraRaderaThank Dan. Am glad you think that way. Simplifying and making it more abstract can be tricky.
RaderaVery beautiful art work !!!
SvaraRaderaHave a very happy Sunday !!!
Thanks Art-traveller. =) Happy Sunday to you too.

SvaraRaderaThanks Julie.
RaderaAll that is holding me back is that I am not sure what direction I want to take it.
