I do have some small paintings to post. I did them earlier when I really enjoyed painting small. This one is the first of two versions of an apple that I did for the
"January Art Challenge"
that can be found at the
"Shoot and paint blog". The paintings were inspired by the reference photo that was provided.
Beautiful and very cleanly painted. The March/purple flowers at "shoot and paint" look wonderful to paint too.
SvaraRaderaThank you Nora. I like to keep things more or less simple and let the brush strokes speak.
RaderaQui n'a pas rêvé devant une pomme d'amour dans une foire ?...
SvaraRaderaJe comprends pourquoi Adam a cédé à la tentation !...
Gros bisous à vous.
Thank you Martine. There is something about painting fruits, I am not sure what, but it is timeless, and you can really put your own spin on it.
RaderaCreates tension having it over on the edge - love the pink line!
SvaraRaderaThank you Julie. Placing it in the middle can have it's effect, but I have learned a thing or two from you. =)
RaderaI like how you can create such beauties in such a simple composition !
SvaraRaderaThank you Jane. I don't prefer to paint small, so when I go small I try to keep things simple and do the most of what there is. Well, that is at least something to aim for.
