NOT FOR SALE
I posted a rough face painting earlier, my first step in finding out how I want to express faces. This is my 2nd attempt and totally different than the first. I went big, very big and worked more on details, but still keeping things loose. These series of explorations are for sale if someone want to buy them, but I don't paint them for that purpose.
Really very nice portrait Roger, and of course in your very interesting personal style !!!
SvaraRaderaHave a nice and creative day !!!
Thank you. It was a challenge painting such a big face. Some things was easier due to the size, but even though I worked with some larger brushes too, it demanded a lot of brush strokes.
RaderaHmmm, looks like someone I 'know' ....a very good portrait . I think you should continue exploring portraits , this is very special ! Have a nice weekend.
SvaraRaderaThank you Jane. I think it is a fun portrait, and it has an impact due to it's size.
Raderavery nice! really fun protrait!
SvaraRaderaThank you Christine, glad you liked it.
RaderaInteresting and equally eye catching as your other explorations of the face. Keep continuing.
SvaraRaderaI want to thank you for all the time and effort you put into your fabulous blog, Roger. It keeps me coming back.
Thank you Julie. I have done several paintings with faces now, some more free and abstract, others more restrained. I start to have more control of drawing/painting up the face.
RaderaFantastic! So much energy!!
SvaraRaderaThank y0ou Nora. I try to put my spin to it.
