Face exploration 7

I did take a little different approach with this one. I did continue with expressive brush strokes, but I didn't go as bold with the colors. I tried to keep the contrast with a lighter touch, no bold shadows. I also spent more time on it. I like the result myself, the face is softer than the previous ones.

  1. Une belle douceur dans les nuances de la peau... qui accentue la profondeur du regard.
Un autre très joli portrait... Jamais de femme ?!... Comme moi, jamais d'homme ?!... (si une fois j'en ai peint un!)...
    Gros bisous

    1. Thank you Linda. I am not sure if I am a good at drawing or not, but I know I should take more time to do it. I am not very patient.

    1. Thank you Jane. I think the eyes are the key element for me. If I don't like the eyes, I don't like the painting.

    1. Thank you Crystal. I don't make things easy for myself, changing colors and approach. That is why I went with a more restraint color scheme on this one.
