I looking forward to show some of the newer face explorations, but I thought I should post them in the order they are done. I think the square format did throw me on a loop with this one. I like the colors and how I worked with the brush stroke. The head has a doll-like quality, is a little round, but otherwise I like it.
A very strong and masculine face, love it !
SvaraRaderaThank you Jane. I have a lot of fun experimenting, finding the balance control and let go.
RaderaHi Roger,
SvaraRaderaVery interesting art work, always I like the colours and the way you work the bruch stroke !!!
Have a happy weekend !!!
Thank you Art-traveller. I like the colors and the brush strokes in this one too.
RaderaI'm loving the portraits you are doing! I agree, a portrait in a square format is a bit tricky at first.
SvaraRaderaHappy Painting.
Thank you Nora. It is a lot fun experimenting and I like the fact that you are doing the same. Happy Painting.
RaderaI love the depiction of the highlights and shadows on this portrait, and the choice of colours. So original and interesting.
SvaraRaderaThank you Jez, glad you like it. I am trying to transfer my style of painting to something I haven't done in years. It is a fun journey.
RaderaAnother winner. I do not notice the square format before the face so you did great. I like the warm and cool sides.
SvaraRaderaThank you Julie. I have a lot of fun exploring.
