Flower Abstraction 6

SOLD

This is actually the first painting I did with this kind of flowers, and I was actually tired of failing, couldn't get the results I wanted. I did this without thinking and just went for it. It is very loose and I realized that I could do it. I just had to be open to the absence of black lines, that I didn't have to use it as much that I usually do and it would still be me.

  1. Love it - and yes, it's still totally you. Really enjoying the faces too - hope you do more!

  2. You have your style down pat with flowers as well as portraits. Lucky you. This is wonderful. I'm starting to wonder what brushes you use. Your brush strokes show no bristles.

    1. Thank you Linda. It is a challenge to finally be painting faces again after so long time. I have actually avoided it since I had no idea how to approach it with a loose hand.
