This is a new version of a painting I did two years ago. The only thing that they have in common is the composition, otherwise they are as different as day and night. I like the old one, but a lot has happened since then and I thought I would be able to make something new with it.
It's funny how none of them are really the focal point, but it still works magically . Love how you copped them all.
SvaraRaderaI thought the same as Jane here. It´s a fun detail that all of them are cut in half. I´ve also enjoyed looking at some of your other late paintings. I like a lot that you paint thin white lines within the flowers for example. In some places the line follows the outlines of the flower and on other places you paint the thin line more freely, more abstract. I like that alot. :)
