This was a little experiment with multiple flowers, containing my signature graphic flower that was inspired by an Iris flower. I might explore some more with this. It is a small painting and was a real challenge.

Still painting, not as much as I would like too, but it is enough for now. I apologize for the lack of posting, I post more regular on Instagram.
This is a painting that I would usually do on a bigger scale, but I liked the challenge and I think it turned out great.

Still painting, mixed results. The thing that I lost not painting for so long is the balance between control and let go. This is a simply flower, but has a lot of details. That works for this one, but more complex compositions, I need to find the detail balance, easy to get too busy.

Well... not painting again..... am in the process of moving to a new house, packing and getting ready takes priority. This is one small paintings that I did as a way to "get back to painting" a while ago.
I guess that I have to start that process again, in our new house..... and hopefully sooner than later.

Playful Fruit Abstraction 1
When I played around with my flower exploration series, I started to do parts of flowers, petals and fruit on the table. The result was a very fresh and playful approach to it. It also show that overthinking can be a bad thing and I should trust my instinct.

A while back, I was asked of a friend of mine to do some black/white paintings. When I started to paint and draw, a long time ago, I only worked in black and white. Perhaps that is the reason that I love colors so much now.
Anyway, I thought it would be a challenge and did some small paintings, mostly black and white, sometimes with a small hint of color.
This one has a hint of yellow in it, to give it a warm feeling. I enhanced that feeling with a yellow frame. Available with frame, give me a message if you want it without.

I should be painting right now, but late spring and garden work has taken up my time. I am looking forward to start painting again and I have some ideas what subject I will focus on.
This is a painting that I painted a while back and fit very well with the coming season. One might find something in the gardens right now, that remind of this painting.

Should have posted this earlier, but never got around to it. It is part of my Easter "Open Studio" Exhibition (Konstrundan) and was sold today. I made a rustic yellow frame for it and I love the end result.

Bird's Nest Abstraction 70
Putting eggs in an abstract bird's nest makes it less abstract, but sometimes I like the mix things up and sometimes it works very well. This is one of those occasions. I also decided to go more "nature" with the colors.

Flower Abstraction 197
This flower abstraction remind me of flowers glowing in the moonlight, no idea why, but that is the feeling I get.
I know I should be painting, but time is better spent right now by preparing things for the "Easter exhibition" and spring is knocking on the door and so much to prepare and plan for the coming work in the garden. Will rework the front of the house, where we built the new fence and we will also ad two Fig trees to the mix of eatable trees and bushes.

This is another one of my autumn berry paintings that I did last year. I usually go for one subject that are fun to do and I keep painting them as long as I feel that I contribute something. As soon as I get the feeling that I am on repeat, then I move on.

This is one of my abstract paintings where I experimented with a limited pallette. It is important for me to keep my signature style, my identity, even if I am going non-figurative abstract. I am rejecting as many paintings that I post, not necessarily because they are bad, but because they are either not good enough or going in the wrong direction.
