This is a more complex flower exploration painting. How detailed/complex a painting become depend when I think it is done. The risk with that method is to go too far, to over work it. I think that it worked out well this time.

I have thought of exploring flowers in a vase for a long time, finally I got the courage to go with it. This is the first one, had a little problem with the vase in itself, but I got it to work in the end.

I realized during the process that I am not interested in the vase in itself and want to find a concept of a vase that I like, and stick with it.

This is one of a couple of paintings that have been around for a while, but haven't been posted for some reason. This one is from February and I was doing a lot of landscapes and tree paintings, getting ready for my Easter exhibition.

I have started to paint again, not as much as before, but I have a lot of things going on in my life right now, not sure if I will be able to do as much as I would like to. This is a painting that I painted a while back. It is a little different in the way the composition is almost like a close-up, a fragment of a larger scene.

This is one of the smaller ones I have done since my exhibition. I still love to explore and express myself on large canvases. I kept this one clean and graphic, making each brush stroke count.
